Sometimes, the greatest dreams begin in the most unexpected places.

House of Gaia Publishing wasn’t created in an office or during a business meeting. It was born in the arts and crafts aisle while I was shopping for binders, markers, and supplies to organize my portfolio for my CDL permit.

As I stood there looking at the shelves, something shifted. An idea filled my heart:

Where are the books that truly inspire our children?

Not just books to color, but books that help children learn, imagine, celebrate, and grow.

I thought about my granddaughter, Gaia, and the world I wanted her to experience. I wanted her to know that holidays aren’t just for adults. I wanted her to understand that Mother’s Day was about showing love, that a  card for Mommy can mean more than an expensive gift, and that every season of the year brings something beautiful to learn and celebrate.

I realized there weren’t enough books that encouraged children to be creative while teaching kindness, confidence, gratitude, family values, imagination, and the joy found in everyday moments.

In that instant, House of Gaia Publishing was born.

Named after our granddaughter, Gaia, our company was created with one mission: to publish books that inspire children to learn, create, dream, and feel loved. Every story, every activity, and every page is created with intention—to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and create meaningful moments between children and the people who love them most.

This isn’t just a publishing company.

It’s our legacy.

A legacy built by Me’ma and Pop’pa for Gaia—and for every child whose imagination deserves to grow, whose creativity deserves to flourish, and whose story deserves to be celebrated.

We believe that books can do more than entertain. They can teach, encourage, inspire conversations, strengthen families, and create memories that last a lifetime.
